Rev. Terri Church Signs Call Paper
On November 3, 2025, Pittsburgh Lutheran United Ministries (PLUM) marked an important and joyful milestone as Rev. Terri Church officially signed her call papers at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod office.
Gathered for this meaningful occasion were Karen Brown, PLUM Secretary; Susan Smith, PLUM President; Bishop Melissa Stoller of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod; and Rev. Terri Church. The moment was captured in a photo taken beneath a portrait of Martin Luther, a fitting reminder of our shared Lutheran heritage and the faith that continues to guide PLUM’s ministry.
The signing of call papers is a sacred step in the life of the church, symbolizing mutual commitment, trust, and hope for ministry together. We give thanks for Rev. Church’s willingness to serve and for the Spirit’s guidance throughout the call process.
PLUM looks forward with gratitude and anticipation as Rev. Terri Church begins this new chapter of pastoral leadership, walking alongside our congregations in shared ministry, collaboration, and faith-filled service.
