Vicar Janet Craig
Vicar Craig’s theological and spiritual journey has unfolded more like a labyrinth than a straight path. As the daughter of a Lutheran pastor, her early life was rooted in the church through music, teaching, and youth leadership. She later spent many years in the corporate world, and also served as an elected official, holding the position of Findlay Township Supervisor for 25 years and currently serving a term that runs through 2029.
She holds multiple college degrees, including a master’s degree in business education from Robert Morris College and a master’s degree in leadership and business ethics from Duquesne University. She recently completed the TEEM (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries) certificate program at United Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg and is currently in the candidacy process through the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod.
Vicar Craig believes God has been faithfully guiding her into her current role with PLUM and toward ordination, and she continues to seek prayerful discernment as she grows in leadership and ministry.
